God Has Blessed America... and America Has Answered With a Sneer

Below is a letter I wrote on May, 3 of this year, just after the death of Osama bin Laden, which you may have already read. I'm re-posting it here since this was where I originally intended to put it. The only changes I have made to it is that Biblical passages have been re-quoted from the King James Version, since I have recently become satisfied of its superior authority as the best English translation of the inerrant word of God.

God Has Blessed America ... and She Has Answered With a Sneer

A critical analysis of the typical American response to the reported death of Al Queda leader, Osama bin Laden, seems very revealing to me. Two very separate, dismaying truths stand out; skeletons that have popped out of their closets, so to speak. Immediately on the surface of the response, I observe, if you'll excuse my candor, a brilliant, classic display of total naivety. Yet it is the second point, "beneath" the immediately apparent, that makes my blood run cold with horror. This saying, cliched though it may be, is without hyperbole. This is because the typical American response is coming not only from the unregenerate, but even from those who have proclaimed Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

To those who trumpeted, "Rejoice, Osama bin Laden is dead!" and, "Today I am very proud of my country and our troops!" and, "Justice has been done!" behold, your tongue is a fire, and your mouth is an open grave.

If I may excerpt a few verses from Isaiah 59 before I continue...

2) "...your iniquities have separated between you and your God,
And your sins have hidden His face from you, that He will not hear.
3) For your hands are defiled with blood,
And your fingers with iniquity;
Your lips have spoken lies,
Your tongue hath muttered perverseness.
7) Their feet run to evil,
And they make haste to shed innocent blood:
Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity:
Wasting and destruction are in their paths.
8) The way of peace they know not;
And there is no judgment in their goings:
They have made them crooked paths:
Whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace."

Allow me to explain myself.

About you, I said that you were naive because you have only salivated at the din of a bell, believing that you were receiving a treat. Did you think that your swell of blood-thirsty pleasure over the proclamation of death was anything but carefully pre-calculated and anticipated by "the god of this world" Satan, and the lost souls being used by him? Are you so willing to believe that the forces of this present darkness have no interest in controlling the emotional responses of the masses? These are avid students of Machiavelli. The Prince is their bedside Bible. Of course they want to control how you feel, so that you'll jump when and where you're told; and they know precisely how to make you feel what they want. That's why we have the six o'clock news and fluoride in our water.

This is why the Christian is exhorted to put on the full armor of God, because without it, the devil, with any tool he has, will find that crack in your armor. Once he gets a claw in he will wait patiently for as long as it takes, until you've let your guard down and said to your soul that all was well, and then he'll widen the crack enough to get another claw in. He will work on you as patiently as he must, so as not to cause alarm, inserting one claw at a time until he finally has a grip on your heart. Will your heart still be with Christ then?

To continue with my first point I am clearly stating that you have responded with a "knee-jerk reaction" as one conditioned. What makes you so trust these treasonous "public servants" that have betrayed us every time they've voted? Or what makes you so trust their tongues in the media? Is it because they told you all about the virtues of journalism in high school? Or what makes you trust "our" [read: their] military? I won't call into question the morals of these soldiers, and certainly there have been men and women in the past that have served honorably. Hopefully some still try to. But have you not observed that these soldiers are trained to follow orders without pausing to think or question, much less to go ask God for wisdom? That is called conditioning. Their responses to orders are automatic. If they are told to kill, they kill. It doesn't matter who they're told to kill. It could be (and has often been) a child in the wrong place at the wrong time, or an entire village of civilians, or a large crowd of people that has the misfortune of being in the same area as a man with a gun. Someday it will no doubt even be American citizens that have been traitorously labeled "dissidents". And guess what, if you're a Christian, you will be called a dissident. If you're a vocal Christian (as we should all be) you're probably on a watch list at a fusion center right now. How proud will you be of your boys and girls in fatigues when they're "just following the orders" of Antichrist and whisk you away to such destinations as the concentration camp at the Denver airport, and herd you downstairs to these mysterious, large, empty cement rooms decorated only with a suspicious sprinkler system?

"Oh but my dear boy would never do that; he's a good boy, and besides, he's taken an oath to defend the Constitution."

Does your dear boy know and understand what's in the Constitution? Are you so sure he wouldn't waffle under pressure rather than be a martyr; after all, he's no more perfect a creation than Osama bin Laden. (For that matter, do you know what's in the Constitution, and what makes you think that it also wasn't written at the subtle instigation of Satan? - Adams and Hamilton did us no favors. Most of these "founding fathers" were deists at best, and many of them were even Freemasons!)

Here's another interesting question: Why are you so quick to believe that they really killed Osama bin Laden a few days ago? How do you know he hasn't been dead for years? What I propose is at least of equal likelihood with what your newsman says, if it's true that the government invests much time and resources in controlling public opinion - and it is.

You can be certain that government always wants to hold onto a wild card like this bin Laden situation, for with it they can make any hand they want if they wait for the opportune moment.

Here's another zinger. How do you know (really know - which means proof) that Osama bin Laden was really "our bad guy"? There are a great many preconceived notions that have been subliminally programmed into our brains by our t.v.s and opinion magazines which have hindered us from freely and truly investigating the issues. Parted from these notions, what you would find is a veritable preponderance of evidence that the American government was hugely culpable, indeed instrumental in the 9-11 attacks. [I don't have space and I would be straying from the point were I to lay out those evidences here.]

"But my emotional responses aren't being controlled!"

Let's hear that soundbite again: "Rejoice, Osama bin Laden is dead!" "Today I am very proud of my country and our troops!" "Justice has been done!"

They can really tug on your heartstrings can't they, with stirring speeches and music now sorrowful and now bombastic? All they have to do is show you a picture of a little kid being carried away from the scene of tragedy by a soldier and they've got you - thus the enemy has been established in the minds of America.

Of course they won't show you that the soldiers just killed the child's parents. They won't show you the untold thousands or perhaps millions of civilians gunned down or bombed by Americans since 9-11, and they can't show you the immeasurable hidden damage done by spent nuclear fuel munitions that are exposing these nations and American troops to radiation.

Why do you think so many of these soldiers are returning home like damaged goods, severe alcoholics, needing therapeutic help they aren't receiving? They're wracked with guilt about what they did; and if burdened with guilt, can you be so sure that they were justified when they killed? When they stand before God, do you suppose He will tell them it was okay to break the sixth commandment on the pretext of following orders? I am sorry but I don't think so.

Now many of you have seen me carry a gun on my belt. Am I an hypocrite or do I just carry it because it looks nice? I hope and pray that the case is neither, but the latter before the former. If I am forced to ever draw it, it will only be to protect another life. I used to believe that this was the only reason "we" had soldiers; but not any more. (And remember, it isn't you, I, or this mythical "we the people" that has them, it is a cult, a demonically influenced coven of some of the most reprehensible traitors, God-haters, and tyrants that the world has ever suffered under, save perhaps for the popes.)

That is why I called you naive. Although I admit I am "pulling no punches", I did not say it, or any of these things, maliciously because I like attacking people from an holier-than-thou position. However, I do feel that the truth should always be acknowledge and embraced, and I find that the truth usually can't be plainly stated with honeyed words.

If you will please bear that in mind I will continue with my second observation.

In the beginning I stated that your responses to the "news" made my blood run cold with horror. This is for three reasons...

The first is because many have said they are proud.

I know that some who are reading this have heard it said that, "Pride goes before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall."[Proverbs 16:18] and, "Behold, his soul which is lifted up [meaning proud in this instance] is not upright within him..."[Habakkuk 2:4] and also, "...God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble"[James 4:6].

There was a time when perhaps America could have been called a Christian nation; but America was proud indeed and Satan found his toehold in their hearts. The nation is in sin, and for sin it will be destroyed. For do you not know that it is not the military that has protected us but the LORD; where then is boasting save in the LORD? We know that pride is not of Christ, who humbled Himself for us, how shall we expect His blessings to continue if we turn from His way?

The second reason is because many have spoken for God that which is neither scriptural nor common sense, claiming that He cannot allow evil to continue beyond such-and-such a duration.

Can you not see that evil not only endures to this day but multiplies? Have you judged that Osama bin Laden's evil was greater than your own? We are all evil. Only God is good.

Therefore thank God that He has, out of His awesome love, allowed evil to continue to this day or there would be no flesh on earth. And praise Him that he has allowed man to pursue the evil intentions of his heart, or man would be just an animal without the experience of love.

Furthermore, while we can be sure that God will punish all evil which is not covered by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, who are we to say how much evil He can or cannot allow upon earth before He intercedes?

The third reason is because many have rejoiced over the tidings of destruction.

Do you not realize that Osama bin Laden (unless he, with his last breath, sincerely repented and called upon Jesus to save him - which is unlikely) is right now in a place of torment in Sheol, and that at the final judgment he will be cast into the Lake of Fire where he will remain separated from God and all love, hope, and peace forever and ever?

We should weep because of that, not rejoice. Our approval of this man's demise should be zero. Lord, break mine heart for what breaks Yours.

How is it that we live under the unfathomable, abundant mercy of the LORD but have no mercy to spare?

Are these sentiments that I have heard expressed the spirit of the Church which we would represent to those who have never known Christ? How many will walk in darkness, and how many malign the name of Christ because our witness was stained with sin? But for these reasons the Church is failing to reach the lost, not because it hasn't changed to keep up with the times.

Some of you have spoken of justice. Since when has a military been used to dispense justice? I thought that was supposedly done in court. (Not that American courts are just.) But what makes you think that men are capable of exercising justice? Do we have the wisdom? It may be in some part for this reason that the Lord has said, "Ye have heard that it hath been said, 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth': But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil [in other words, a person who intends to do you evil]: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also." [Matthew 5:38-39] We are not able to judge with justice, we are only able to take vengeance; but vengeance belongs to the LORD.

I acknowledge that governments have been ordained by God to bear the sword against evil, as it is written in Romans 13; however, biblically and lawfully this establishment is intended for the protection of the nation's own citizens against evil, not to step out around the world illegally playing police officer, judge, jury, and executioner all at once.

Now I have rebuked, and I have tried to do it in love; yet I know that my words have bitten and offended many. I have spoken plainly so that none can say they did not receive the message, and for that I can offer no apology. As for me, when I stumble (it shouldn't be long), show me the block I fell over; keeping each other accountable is part of the gig, and I want to hear a scriptural rebuke when I err.

And now a parting word from our Heavenly Sponsor, recorded in Luke chapter 12...

51) "Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:
52) For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two and two against three.
53) The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law."
I pray that none of these statements will divide us. But I have spoken truly, praying as I have written that God would grant me wisdom and good words, and I will not retract. If they must divide us, so be it; I will endure, for it is well with my soul.
Grace and peace be with you all. Amen.
